I decided to take the plunge late last night (or early this morning, either way) and upgrade my WordPress install to version 2.5. It was actually a complete non-event. First, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Dreamhost had a one-button upgrade process to the new version already set up. Then, when I hit that button, everything went off without a hitch! All my plugins were automatically moved over, and my theme seems to work great too! Phew.

Now I need to familiarize myself more with the menus and new features of 2.5. I am already liking it — especially the updated online posting form.. what do I smell? AJAX! Mmm… delicious!
