Disqus is Great! Currently there are some “comment plugins” which can let a page have function of comment.The best one I know is Disqus With greater control and commenter profiles. this plugins is really cool, I love it. Thanks for Sharing..

I wasn't even aware we could vote on people's comments, nevermind understand what clout was. Now I am enlightened on both fronts. You have answered my questions in a clear and entertaining way. Thanks.

There is an option you forgot to mention. Our clout could be low because our comments are so dull, people fail to be inspired by them. There's no “meh” voting option so we stay at an anemic sub 10 level.

Someone had negative count on my site until recently, when everyone's Clout went up. No idea why, either. I'm confused. Did something change?

Well, Disqus revamped its site and WP plugin just today, so maybe they did some work on their karma system. It wouldn't surprise me.

Well yah. Right now clout doesn't give much weight. When I first saw it, I really ignored it, I didn't even both to read what clout is coz I figured “it's just the same like the rest, easy to game”. But for some weird reason, no one is gaming it. Does that mean “comment rating” is, well… not important and useless?

If that's the case, then the Entrecard+SezWho partnership is useless as well (no wonder Entrecard's contest is geared towards the use of SezWho's comment-rank system). Or maybe I misunderstood their contest :p hehe.. [Sorry for the off-topic.]

Same. CSS is too easy to use, table has become obsolete “unofficially”. Table now is strictly for tabular data, but what's stopping a webdev from using CSS to present tabular data? NONE! hehehehe

I never look at clout either. It's cool and all, but not something I have time to care about. Of course, your post made me go check made. I'm only at 10. Oh well, matches my avatar.
