Feed Uptick – RSS Reset

Update: Post pulled for inaccuracy.  Sorry about that!  When it comes to stats I’m still learning.  Thanks to Louis for setting me straight.  However, FeedCompare is still a useful utility that you should check out.

I was re-reading yesterday’s post about RSS Reset and, since I included the live FeedBurner counters in my post, I noticed that many of them seemed slightly higher.  I decided to drop them in to FeedCompare and see the trending. …

  • That makes no sense. :-)

    1. Regular Geek tops out around 250 every week on Thursday and Friday, and drops down on Sunday, just like every other RSS feed on the Web.
    2. Deasil had a similar flat to slightly-up curve, and the bump at 06/08 is almost even with that of 06/05, maybe a difference of 1 or 2, total.
    3. Scribkin is on the rise, period.
    4. Tw3nty3ight looks flat over the entire period. The bump you're seeing is again, typical Sunday to Monday action.

  • Yeah, I guess I know what you are saying is correct. Well, like you said on friendfeed, I will revisit in a month and see where they are.
